My favourite government fib :
Jacqui Smith : "I believe there is a demand, now, for cards - and as I go round the country I regularly have people coming up to me and saying they don't want to wait that long"
She's full of shite.

Attempting to take on George Monbiot via open letter exchange in the Guardian was immensely foolish. A couple of days after Monbiot posted this, there was an outraged little letter sent by David Blunkett explaining how the Guardian "used to stand for something". Oh, the irony. The twat was in the Observer yesterday too, fawning away for support.
I'm also sick of Mandleson chipping in at every opportunity to emphasise how Labour stand for wealth creation and ties with business.
Oh, and David Freud's defection. I didn't even realise he was a former investment banker and will never understand why he was put in charge of welfare reform.
Sick of it all, dammit :(
