# Hmmm. Thereby hangs an annoying tale.
Had to move it from next month to June.
The climate for my destination is somewhat better then, I'm informed.
Got to travel through Lagos, though - I'm not looking forward to that.
Obligatory lost luggage, being robbed by the ARMED police, etc etc etc

it's the DRC you're heading to? Just make sure you get good travel insurance and buy a macbook air before you go (but don't take it with you)...

I'm too much of a wuss. I'm worried about even flying *through* Nigeria.
Accra is the proposed destination.

although I've heard that 4/5ths of the Congo are not only perfectly safe but also exceedingly pleasant. It's just the bits with all the war and death terror you have to be careful of (place is like as big as the moon or something)...

Isn't Ghana due South of the UK - how are you having to fly though Nigeria?
