Becausethere's only ever a certain amount of threads on the board, and every time you post a new one it shoves another one off- something someone's spent time on (hopefully). What'd be a good idea next time is if you post one, and then post the others as replies, that way they can still be voted for individually, but you don't shove other people's work off the board.
Plus it makes it a bitch to read when there's two new threads every refresh.
