you should watch Ideal. It's stupendous. It's so dark and odd, but fucking funny. Especially if you're a stoner.

I've been watching a few of the Mitchell and Webb Situation shows, which is quite good, but stumbled across the second series of Flight of the Conchords so I'm currently firm in the belief that my arse is made of chocolate.

"The Farmer" had me chuckling too.
"Here, psst, c'mere, see, what you do is, get some chickens right, like this one. It's fucking MADE of chicken! Kill it, free chicken! I've got loads of em. Keep em alive, free eggs! People buy em! I'm fucking rich!" (paraphrased)

The snooker blokes are essentially boring, yeh - but everytime Mitchell says "oooh that's a bad miss" it makes me laugh

I was meaning his stand-up. I went to see him in stand-up in glasgow and he lay on the stage saying nothing for quite a while and eventually the bar refused to stop bringing him guinness so he went on about that for a long time. It was funny at times, but I left feeling more depressed than anything.

I think 10 or 12 was where they stopped, then eventually brought him another and assured him that'd be the last. :/

I saw Jonny Vegas doing Stand-up in Brighton about 10 years ago. He died on his (big) arse. Didn't have any jokes, and just told unamusing stories about being a pottery teacher.
Possibly the worst reaction to a stand-on comedian I've ever witnessed.
