I like this.sudden tale:
A few years ago I was in a slightly pretentious part of Oxford town and happened to find myself walking towards a group of young people stood around on a corner.
The young people were wearing hoodies, looking slightly threadbare and passing a bottle around carefully wrapped in a bag. Such a group, while not uncommon in Oxford generally, is certaily not an expected site in this part of town, which is a long way from the usual haunts of such folks. As I approached I was wondering 'are they lost, are they looking for trouble, or are they not really a bunch of tough kids.'
My question was answered for me when, as I was about 10 feet away, one of the group members dropped the bottle breaking it. The young fellow next to him piped up in perfect plummy upper-calls English: 'Oh Rupert, you tit! Look what you've done.'
Ahh, I love posh kids.
