It's ok for rentacrowd scenes.But the results tend to have a certain samey quality. The custom mesh support is a bugger to get working properly, or it was last time I looked.

Yeah kind what I'm getting at.You can get a good mesh and texture out of it to play with in Maya so as a simple base tool it's good.
Fallout 3, Oblivion, Football Manager 2007+ and Tiger woods golf 2006+ use d the sdk pretty much out of the box.
As you say, a bit of fun. I'm sure there are some opportunities for sticking heads scenes on b3ta when you can't get that look you want from google.
