# SCIENCE WILL KILL YOU HEATHEN DOGS!
I was chatting with my religious BiL ON (Easter) Sunday. I proposed that religion is the enemy of science as it shuts down thinking.

He said it doesn't. He said SCIENCE asks 'How?', religion asks 'Why?', and that was the common confusion.

I thought that was inneressin.

# Many religious people question their beliefs.
Just because they come to a different conclusion doesn't mean they haven't thought about it.

# Oh I perfickly happy with religious people who have ashley questioned and fought with their beliefs
(assuming they don't blummin' thrustthem at me, obviously). It's the blind acceptors that upset me.

# Fair enough.
Although, to be honest most of us do the same when we read a Science text book.

# Science asks why too.
It just doesn't go "well, because I say so."

# To be honest Vag, I don't care.
I used to be a regular on h2g2, so I'm as tired of
science versus religion as you would not believe.

# Hey man - I'm sorry.
I'm not tired of it, but didn't want to upset you. Sorry dude.

# Didn't upset me!
I'm usually on the side of the religious. I just had a moment of doubt ;)
