To be fair, I don't think you'd expect to learn about film special effects in school,unless you're taking a film-making degree.

A lifetime special effects nerd right here *raises hand*not nearly as much fun since the invention of digital compositing and CGI but I'm the one who listens to the effects commentary with glee.
