Wanting answers is quite understandable, but I have no idea how often a criminal will give those reasons to the victim/families afterwards.It's a little more suspect to want someone to languish in jail for the rest of their life at great expense rather than go quietly.
I'm not talking about capital punishment, more cases like this and when criminals commit suicide before facing justice.
