# The glory of a mac
in the paws of an idiot, is you can't check :)

# I don't think you can check on Google Chrome either (not obviously by right-clicking, anyway)
And that is why it will never be adopted by b3tans.

What are the chances it all goes nice and smooth and everything works without a hitch? Nil, that's what they are. Nil.

# That the Windows 7 RC?
I love their way of making it temporary. I think next March or something it starts shutting itself down automatically every 2 hours.

# Yeah but to be fair
That's longer than they have ever allowed an RC to run in the past. I'll have a licence when it's available so it won't concern me.
I have it on 2 other computers but they were clean installs. This is my first upgrade and is my main, everyday PC with about 1TB of installed programs. I just know it's gonna fall on it's arse and cause me great anguish.

# Gawd, that's brave.
How is it on the clean installs? I've heard mixed reviews.

# It's been excellent.
I've had the b3ta on test for ages. I had to re-install that as there is no upgrade from b3ta and I have it on a dual core AMD similar to this one and it's been sweet, not a single driver hunt and it's on in about 12 seconds and off in 4.

# hark at me 'b3ta' I'm like pavlov's dog when I type.

# Arf
Sounds good, I may investigate.
