# just tell it straight
the buck rests with the account manager usually, so ask him/her why you haven't been trained and was left on your own. You should find a change in attitude from them

# Because she was on holiday for two weeks.
As was my line manager, and at the moment, so is the woman who USED to do this job, who is the only one with any working knowledge of the stuff I need to use.

I need to go back to the doctors to get him to give me bigger anti depressants, when I do I just know he's going to have a go at me because I won't let him sign me off.

# ask them
if the job was so important, ask why was this situation allowed to arise.

It's down to the manager to ensure that people are able to do their jobs!

# Line managaer and account manager
on leave at the same time... fucktards!

As Moz once said, just do your best and don't worry.

I've found myself in similar situations, having to deal with stuff I've got no knowledge of, and no one to help. I just try and defuse the situation as best I can. when your superiors return tell them how you dealt with the difficult situatuion you found yourself in and if they've got any decency (unlikely) they'll appreciate your effort under difficult circumstances.

Or maybe that's just bollox and I should realise we don't live ion that kind of world.
