I've tried rubbing it with a cat but that just made it worse and left me with lacerations

# Put your keyboard in the freezer overnight (remember to disconnect it from the PC first unless you have an empty chest or walk-in freezer)
when suitably frozen, smash it against something hard. This should dislodge the jam. You may now eat the frozen jam as a tasty frozen treat, and your keyboard should be in perfect working order.
