I was going to say something like I dont care enough or act all too cool for school and say Im not sure I believe you but Im too lazy to to check hnhnhnhn but something bizarrely compelled me to check and indeed there are 1000 arghs! but you didnt count them which is still cheating.

I feel this would be cheating, maybe, if the participant is considered a counting novice then they will be permitted to use their finger, other than that they must count each one individually.
