Nope, just a bloke who did two terms of Japanese in a weekly adult education evening class about 10 years ago.Forgive the unsophistication. I've even forgotten my hiragana these days.

I thought "watashi" was feminine and "atashi"was masculine...now I come to think of it, it's the other way around, isn't it?
