It was an assumption based on you having roaches,and you being up at this time, but the light being dark, which would preclude you being anywhere further east than europe.
I say that because when I was out in New York I went round to a friends house and it was only the second time I ever saw a cockroach. It seems to be a much bigger issue over there than here in the UK.

I think it is impossible with the way that US city's are builr.They go up to high and have too much underneath.
