I've just judged a 'Short Story Writing' compo. 'Homelessness' was the theme.All the usual suspects entered. Boo hoo, the usual. A Chinese woman entered, too.
Mind-blowingly original, her stuff was. For us, at least. She basically won by default. Stuff about living through the winter on a skyscraper you're actually building.
From which we can read: the Chinese doods over here are gonna stop hiding and start showing up in public.
If they write as well as our compo winner, good.
