It wasn't until this compothat I realised I don't watch anything on ITV anymore not even when channel-surfing. I did watch 60-minute makeover for the first series but got fed up of all the expensive furniture product placement very quickly.
According to that show a one hour cosmetic makeover of three rooms in one small-to-average sized house would cost more than £20000 and that does not factor in the labour costs of the 20 or more decorators & designers.
Seeing as that's how the show was probably funded I guess that was a bit of an own goal.
