Australian TV is worse...During Neighbours, they have an advert break between the last scene and the closing credits and then another one after the credits!
And the adverts are very, very cheap. Don't expect to see too many expensive Guinness/Mobile phone adverts, most of them will remind you of the adverts they used to put at the front of films:
'G'day, I'm Bob from 'Bob's Garden Supplies' and have we got something for you etc etc'
