I'm not trying to say 'America deserved 9/11', I'm just saying that these things don't just happen for no reason. And maybe the whole world, not just America, should learn from the whole incident to prevent it ever happening again...
Terrorism tends to be bred from violence, poverty, a sense of injustice at powers generally construed to be beyond one's control. I'm sure if these things could be eliminated Al Quaeda's recruitment would drop to zero. As it is, the only thing the west is currently bringing to the middle east is more violence. Surely that's not going to help eliminate terrorism?
