My current thinking is its Burton's bestso many bits that made we just go wow.
The Caterpillar is incredible, beautiful smoke effects
Every movement the cat makes
The doormouse, the march hair, really incredible animation work
Depp is wonderfully under used, he's in no way the main role
Bonham Carter is almost as good as Miranda Richardson in Blackadder
so much so good
but do expect a few bits of emotionless greenscreening, story progression and acting trouble
