Only this body text is html and, if a lot of the coding is filtered out - even within tags.
So, if you wanted to have an image on the right, it would filter out the align='right' tag for you.

It's there to protect people from malicious code and to keep the format more usable (keeping steady levels of indentation with subthreads) but it can be a bit of an annoyance if you want to do something special like your 'om' ॐ.
