The inimitable Pooflake and my good self are playing a sunday afternoon gig at a...........wait for it..................BEER AND CIDER FESTIVAL WOOHOO!!!!
It'll be at the Brickmakers arms in Berkswell. It's a 2 min walk from the train station on the line from London to Birmingham so there's easy access for all.
Come along and support the gig, all proceeds to the Belmers' getting-ratted-and-falling-about fund.
It's a good cause. Honest!
The Brickmakers arms
Belmers gig 5th October
Going: Captain Placid, rubberduck, TGB, Himjim, Cawl, Labia Majora, Rotating Wobbly Hat, Pooflake, Mr Twisty Cheeky (9 people).
Is Berkswell walkable from Warwick?
EDIT: <Looks at map>. Possibly not... Never mind, I'll be on the train.

but it would take you about 3 1/2 hours :p
And then if you had to walk back after all the cider about 7 hours...

Well Pooflake and I have been rehearsing (yeah right! Like we do anything so structured) so the afternoon may be slightly less offensive to your delicate ears. We're also looking for ideas on acoustic stuff we could do and/or acoustic versions of favourite tracks.
Any suggestions?

Acoustic stuff.
Just ask Mr. Lake about "The Retard Song", haha!
I'd love to hear a cover of "Breaking The Law" by Judas Priest.
That'd make my day.

I will be supplying earplugs for the insult to music that we will be offering.
Please don't bring anything other than a large thirst...and VERY low expectations...

Down-play it all you like, I'm still really looking forward to this!

are going to be out on the Saturday, I thought that a hangover cure breakfast might be in order on Sunday morning.
So therefore I cordially invite anyone who might be free to one of my special breakfasts on Sunday morning at half 10. It will be quite brilliant. If you have any food allergies, or afflictions of vegetarianism please let me know.

I'll fully assume that I'll be there!
If TGB lets me :(
Because I don't know my way around Leam at all.
Also, I'm very allergic to cooked fish.
Although I doubt that's relevant!

My breakfasts are salt ackee and rum.

So the fish thing might be an issue?
I can stick with the rum though :)
I assume she'll be there :p
I just hope I haven't been killed and thrown into the canal...
