Extinct! What was it and where did it go? Things are dying off all the time and often nobody takes the time to notice. Use your favourite time machine and make us tributes to things that are now (or should be) extinct, and post them on the board.

Famous Mistakes in Fly-Fishing Flies #5: The Zip Fly
This fly was never taken as bait in real-life testing as it kept unzipping and shedding it's skin. Fish were then not attracted to a bare hook.
