I would go grab Reaper, it's super cheap and made by a group called Cockos!

It's pro quality stuff with a huge community.

This is a normal post I've got it but couldn't get on with it.
No disrespect to the software I just need this stuff to be as simple as possible.

It's on steam, how complex can it be?

Let's hope Cakewalk does ya. Myself I use Ableton because that does seem to cater to folks who stare at ProTools and go .... 'whuh?'
