That dog seemed to have something really important to get off it's chest
it almost seemed like it was putting extra effort into it's canine dialogue with a highly complex and sophisticated combination of yelps and high pitched variations of it's normal monosyllabic vocalisation, all of which sadly did little but earn it a good scratch behind the ear
