I was born in Rainham, just down the road
when dad was working at the dockyard. Luckily they moved when I was less than 2 when it shut. They moved to Plymouth.

Aw my gawd
I was born in Wigmore, which is a bit ironic given that I'm now a purebred slaphead. Wigmore was sort of Rainham Aspirational (until our family of seven moved in); but I can confirm that Chatham is indeed shite. As a young man we used to go down the Command House near the dockyard to watch the Naval Provosts (Navy MPs) beating the crap out of drunken matelots........Happy days.
