film is notable for the line:
:"We are men, United", which, from the mouth of Ray Winstone sounds very much like he supports a certain Northern football team. Thats all I remember, apart from the fact that it was directed by an atheist who was exploring the purpose of 'story' in our sad little lives. In addition, it has the oddest performance by Anthony Hopkins as Methuselah. It solves a lot of the tricky bits of the biblical version as well.
