This is a normal post I think there is a more vocal, numerous and active left wing fringe
If you look at this country, compare the number of demonstrations/riots that take place under a conservative administration to that that take place under a labour administration. I realise these things are policy related, but even so.

This is a normal post It's probably because people get more right wing as they get older.
Pensioners find it hard to work up the energy to go into town to spit at people entering the Labour party conference. That, and they'd forgotten what they'd gone into town for by the time they got there.

This is a normal post the only issue I can remember the tory vote getting on the streets for ever is foxhunting
Wonder how far you'd have to push them fiscally to mobilise them. Would have loved to have seen the mansion tax riots

This is a normal post the tories dont have a huge number of activists or the trade unions behind them so it's hard for them to organise protests
They have got loads of cash though
