Yes, as shot for shot remakes go, this one is poor.
To be fair to the wee lad though, it was you who was billing it as that and not the original creator. The gentleman, "Jordan Peele" claims it is a word for word recreation and, although I haven't checked, I expect he is correct in his claim. Well done "Jordan Peele", Well Done "imtypingonakeyboard". I hope everyone can be happy and take something from this small review.
