I would jokingly call a lesbian friend a dyke
but would not do the same with faggot or shirt lifter with a poo pusher. I jest for offence at the end there, cos b3ta, innit, but otherwise I'm being serious. Maybe there's some latent misogyny on my part with this thinking, but I think they've got it right.
