My most feared army boss used to use the word 'pragmatic' to mean incredibly cynical and ruthless. And when he meant really unpleasant he would say 'flexible and pragmatic' And turning up to 11 was 'dynamic, flexible and pragmatic'. That's our Rupe.
He's worried that Breitbart is stealing eyeballs from him. But they are dumb poor eyeballs. Which is why he keeps doing random dad-dancing moves like buying myspace and vice. But remember he is nothing of not free trade.

I've never met him, but I did serve Jerry Hall in a shop once.
If he thinks someone will make him money, I think they can pretty much think, say and write what they want. You may have worked for Sky or News International (as it was once known) but without any juicy anecdotes, I'm going to stubbornly stick to my guns.

met him once
when I was quite a young reporter. He was fun and funny. really into reporters and stories. I wish I had been more relaxed, thinking back. He was still on wife number one then.
