If he is so interfering in his media empire's editorial line, please explain why The Sun was staunchly pro Leave, yet The Times was staunchly pro Remain, and The Sunday Times was pro Remain, albeit in a rather lukewarm way, while Sky News was a bit schizophrenic on the matter. He was openly pro Leave.

Well, if you weren't so gnomic and obtuse all the time, I might not have got the wrong end of the stick.
I think he's a "let's wait and see and stick or twist as late as we can" kind of chap. He rarely backs the wrong horse in politics, but in politics there isn't a croupier calling "Les jeux sont faits", so he can take his time.
