I remember first becoing aware of the unreliable nature of wiki
Myself and a mate in office late one night looked up Charles Moore. The short bio stated that he had 'come out' in a small private ceremony at his London home. For a few minutes me and my chum mulled this - saying such things as 'You know, in a way I'm not surprised' 'It makes sense'. Then we both looked at each other with wild surmise and started gleefully editing pages. They've toughened up a bit now but it kept us entertained for an evening.

My son earned the title w*****r vandal by the wiki moderator for editing
