Quality stuff
Saw Godspeed last year at the Edinburgh Playhouse, which was even better than I expected it to be. I had hoped that they'd play my personal favourite "09-15-00, Part 1", but as their tracks last an average of 20 minutes, that was kind of a tall order. Nevertheless, their performances of 'Storm' and 'East Hastings' brought a very real lump to my throat, and even though they only played with one violinist, she kicked its ass up and down that stage, totally making up for the more stripped-down strings. First seated gig I'd ever been to as well, which was interesting..

Missed that myself, if I'd known about it I'd have headed there. Caught them in Newcastle a few years ago, was a heck of a gig.
