Yes, I like this a lot. In fact, a clicky lot.
I stumbled across an article about sous vide cooking a while back, and was wishing I had a temperature controlled water bath until I remembered that I'd rescued exactly that from being thrown out at my last job and it had been sitting in my basement for about 20 years. I don't cook steak very often, but with a water bath they're guaranteed to be cooked to perfection. Another big advantage is that you can cook them ahead of time, with only a very quick searing in a pan needed before serving.
