This is a normal post A big shouty thread with no me in it?
That will never do....

I had the good fortune to go to a secular community college which gave me a broad outlook.

I find schools based on religion to be dubious but for me the bigger issue is not those that have been around for ages and properly regulated.
This country has done a good job in the past of rounding off the more unpleasant nature of world faiths leaving behind a core of fancy-full thinking and a few funny songs.

It is the Christian, Jewish and Islamic schools that are cropping up funded from abroad by regimes and cultures wanting to promote their own backwards world view on UK children that are the problem.

Secondly there is a real issue of unofficial private schools that are not inspected at all hiding under the parents claim that the children are home schooled. These are the worst offenders, poisoning children's minds and further ghettoising communities. Half of these schools are religious of the faith based ones a majority are Islamic with the others Jewish and Christian.
