Oh FFS. The guy was in contempt for prejudicing a trial. Innocent until proven guilty, this prick was trying to whip up a baying mob in defiance of that fundamental principle. That's all there is to it.
Now if we could just stop publicly identifying people prior to conviction, especially in cases where the CPS is habitually withholding crucial evidence, that'd be dandy.
