It doesn't appear as though anyone denies it being "some garage band..." that "faded into obscurity."
On the contrary it looks as though they're just trying to track down any basic info like the bands' name or country of origin. The nerve...
As an expert on "every goth band of the era" perhaps you could just tell them who it was so there won't be anymore "great mystery."
