A patent for a fart rocket.
The description is something to behold.
"This invention relates generally to toy gas-fired missiles, and more particularly to a toy gas-fired missile and launcher assembly in which the explosive mixture for propelling the missile is derived from colonic gas discharged by the operator of the toy."
"To operate the assembly, the operator places the inlet tube with its valve open adjacent his anal region from which a colonic gas is discharged."

So, as long as your knock-off version only aims for a stratospheric apogee then you're not violating the patent.

I googled the names of the two New Jersey guys who filed this.
And I am amused to find that Michael F Zanakis (PhD) appears to have previously attempted to defraud McDonalds, and successfully defrauded Coca Cola: apnews.com/e5aefcf630fba5ad4efcf06fde3fcb25
