My old mates on the Island have all taken their kids round to find and visit them. They're really cute. Super detail.

This is a normal post There's a strange willful groupthink in certain places
- where everyone agrees to say "fairies exist", often without any actual belief as such. It's sort of like Father Christmas, but not so restricted to pretending for the sake of the children.

I mean there's a Fairy Bridge on the Isle of Man, where you have to greet the Little Folk, or they'll fuck you over quite royally.
And being an atheist engineer, I find it quite strange that even I will always say "Hello Fairies" when crossing that bridge - the thought of not saying it feels kind of weirder than doing it!
