though I can't see much humour aside from what little flows from using the username of a well known dead paedo. there's no payoff or reveal, so it's basically poes law, the trolling being indistinguishable from an actual rightwing account of the kind that's depressingly ubiquitous.

I think you summarise it quite well.
The only humour or interest comes from the fact that he is posting under the name Sir Jimmy Savile. He is indistinguishable from an actual rightwing account, so much so that I personally don't think he is trolling, I think he believes the things he is saying or at least a version of them. He is doing so as Sir Jimmy Savile though which is the interesting part. If you are going to have a go at this guy for that, you need to have a go at Mike Yarwood too.
If Tom Scott and the BBC are trying to moderate YouTube comments as another poster claims then more fool them. It's not their responsibility to do so and if they want to attempt to do that then they shouldn't be surprised that's it's an impossible task. If you start deleting comments that you disagree with, ergo the comments left must be the ones you agree with. For high comment channels like those, that's not a good position to be in. They are not being paid by Google to clean up YouTube comments, so why do it?
