What a fucking inane thing to say. Of course he performs the pantomime of qualified sympathy, but his aim is precisely and exactly to frustrate drivers. It gets him the attention he craves, and he can argue it’s reasonable as car use is part of the problem. But don’t give me the complete and utter bullshit that he empathises with the victims of his disruptive melodrama, he could not give a single, solitary shit, he needs their victimhood to gain any kind of media attention. If he really had any empathy whatsoever he wouldn’t disrupt the lives of the powerless. Fuck’s sake.
