Adventure Time is an absolute masterpiece.
I feel it gets overlooked by so many older individuals due to it being passed off as "Just another kid's show" or something that trendy Gen-Z's are into, but it's so much more than that.
The best way of describing it is as a child-friendly show for adults. There's plenty of visual humour and slapstick for everyone to enjoy, but there are so many thematically deep subplots going on throughout the seasons touching on things like morality, loss, narcissism.
It's profound when they start to develop characters like the Ice King and turn him from some wacky baddy in a mountain Fort into one of the most tragic characters you could possibly imagine encountering in a 'Kid's Show'.
It can be a bit of a pain in the arse sourcing all the seasons, but if anyone hasn't given it a go yet, I seriously recommend it.
