Interesting though, seems they rely more on visual acuity than I'd guess, rather than following chem trails. Suggests some more complex cognition in pattern recognition and memory

they glue microtrackers on other insects, though even if its just trudging over them they might be interfering given their contention the wee buggers are good at seeing. seems to be a lot of research about em, I counted a dozen recent papers on their navigation alone
