I have a friend with Tourettes
He calls out the most offensive thing possible, he told me. He has no filters, his words, just says the most offensive thing that comes into his head. If you're bald, he goes for it; I you're fat, goes for it; black; effete; whatever. Unless he likes you. He holds very different political views to me but we get along fine and he has never been "rude" to me.
That's one case. It may not fit all. It is my experience with a very pleasant Iranian kid who I count as a friend.

some people on links have trouble not blurting out abuse
I had tourettes guy who would get onto my tram. Quite enjoyed it, and the freaked out passengers
but this is a bit like babies. they wail and cry, it's not their fault, you can't hold it against them. But don't bring em to a wedding or a cinema unless you know people are cool with it.
