The same used to be true of Deal Or No Deal in the UK...
...they used to use MS Excel to randomly put the cash values in the boxes- until someone realised that they too were just on a loop, and you could easily predict what value would be in each box.
Until some knob wrote in and mentioned it, instead of going on and fleecing Edmonds for quarter of a million pounds.
They use balls in a bag, now.
