This reminds me of when I ate in Washington DC
With my friend from Seattle. Both of us knew about tipping, but frankly we didn't get any decent level of service. So when the bill came out at $19.57, we left a $20 note and walked out.
Shortly afterwards this Moroccan waiter comes charged after us...
Waiter: "Where's my tip?"
Us: "We left it for you"
W: "43 cents?! Are you from Europe then?"
Seattle Friend: "No, I'm from Washington state"
W: "And you don't leave a tip... Don't fucking come back here..."
Us (remembering the level of service we didn't receive: "WE WONT!"

That's so fuckin wrong.
i hate the idea of paying to be served by a fucking waiter.
he's getting a wage, you don't see me sitting here in my office tellin people to give me some fucking money just for answering their phone call in a polite manner.
Don't get me wrong, i know waiting is a hard-ass job, but so's mine, i don't get tips.
i know you get paid shit for waiting and can only really live if you get decent tips......here's a tip, get a fuckin better paid job.
Grrrrrrrrrr.
all this said. i do usually tip, cos i don't wanna look like a cunt, but if someone gives me crap service then no way.
