I suspect he has Asperger's Syndrome, partly why he is such an individual and constantly wants to talk about stuff that he thinks interests him and no one else. He's very happy in his own skin and doesn't care about what people think of him. The finely tuned science brain is a giveaway too, you only have to look at Einstein.
