I thought it was destroyed by a building collapse a few years back?

Yes it is. I remember reading on this and on our european Hermes shuttle back in the 80's. Fun I always saw some smaller scale models of it they used to send and test for atmospheric reentry, but I've seen seen any photo of a full scale one.
