This is a link post Do The Robot! I made this!
The second Doctor Who, played by Patrick Troughton, encounters the Ice Warriors in the story 'Seeds Of Death'. For some reason when the Ice Warriors' minion exits the T-Mat (transporter) he does a little dance. It just cries out for a bit of 'disco lighting'...

Is funny tho innit? Mucho credit due to theShalroth for the 'Do The Robot!' vocal which vastly improved the funnies!

I'm almost certainly gonna get some Who-nerds who misinterpret the joke pointing out indignantly that it's not a robot tho...

We were in chat with him in teh 90s (Jeff Minter too), I was involved with graphics for games on teh Amiga and our music programmer got matey with him, never really met tho, and Minter ended up staying in touch only thru his lawyers after we showed our adoration by faithfully reproducing a few of his old 64 games onto said Amiga, so meh...
